Biography:
I completed my medical education between 1996-2002 and completed my general surgery specialization between 2002-2008 at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine-Turkiye I have worked as a member of the surgical team at a bariatric surgery clinic certified by IFSO for 8 years. I have actively performed over 4000 bariatric surgery cases to date. I am also very experinced and highly skilled preoperative and postoperative endoscopic and non-surgical treatment modelities in bariatric patients. Appropriate follow-up of patients after bariatric surgery, pre&postoperative data is one of my sensitive point. One of the most important points in long term success after bariatric surgery is good follow-up. I have a high level of experience in healty nutirtion and dietetics protocols which have an important place at the follow-up period. I have dozens of articles published in leading international journals in the field of bariatric surgery. In addition, I am still a reviewer position in many international journals in the field of bariatric surgery. I am still working as an academitian at Nişantaşı University I am an active member of the International Federation of Bariatric Surgery (IFSO) and the American Bariatric Surgery Association (ASMBS)
