Biography:
Prof. Dr. Ali Ekiz graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, and began specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After becoming a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology, he completed one year of mandatory service. Subsequently, he passed the subspecialty exam and completed his Perinatology (High-Risk Pregnancy) subspecialty at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. Continuing his work at the same hospital, he earned the title of Associate Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2018, he left his position at the training and research hospital and worked in several top-tier hospitals in Istanbul. In 2023, he was appointed as a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Demiroğlu Bilim University. Ali Ekiz, who has extensive experience in high-risk pregnancies, performs all pregnancy-related procedures to world standards. He handles all procedures, including fetal anomalies, in-utero interventions, and surgeries. Over the past two years, he has gained significant experience in open fetal surgery for spina bifida, performing in-utero surgeries. These surgeries are conducted at Istinye University Gaziosmanpaşa Medical Park Hospital in collaboration with Pediatric Neurosurgery and Pediatric Urology specialists. Additionally, he performs all other gynecological and obstetric surgeries, both open and laparoscopic. He provides services at his private clinic in Ataköy, one of Istanbul’s most prestigious neighborhoods. He performs surgeries at A+ hospitals and university hospitals.
