Biography:
In 2004, he was admitted to Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine as his first choice, and graduated from the university with honors in 2010. After successfully passing the Medical Specialization Examination (TUS) and securing his first choice, he specialized in “Obstetrics and Gynecology” at Dr. Zekai Tahir Burak Women’s Health Education and Research Hospital. He obtained the title of “Obstetrician and Gynecologist” in 2016. Between 2016 and 2018, he worked as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Mus State Hospital, completing his State Service Obligation. During his specialization training and afterwards, he received training predominantly in women’s sexual health, sexual aversion disorder, anorgasmia (inability to achieve orgasm), dyspareunia (painful sexual intercourse), and vaginismus, and provided treatment for numerous couples. Throughout his compulsory service, he also responded to intense patient demands from surrounding cities. In the meantime, he had the opportunity to perform many genital aesthetic and reconstructive operations. He gained extensive experience, particularly in labiaplasty, vaginoplasty (surgical vaginal tightening), and genital regenerative treatments (PRP, mesotherapy, fillers, and stem cell applications). In 2019, he settled in Istanbul to continue his professional career. He worked at Özel Acibadem Healthcare Group for one year in Istanbul. In 2020, he joined the Hera Clinic Istanbul family. For three years, he focused intensively on genital aesthetic and vaginismus treatments. During this period, he participated in educational activities and courses at many national and international meetings. As of February 2023, Op. Dr. Servet Sekeryapan Calikoglu is seeing patients at his own clinic in FULYA/Sisli. Dr. Çalikoglu primarily focuses on women’s sexual problems, especially vaginismus treatment, painful sexual intercourse, orgasm problems, and sexual aversion. On the other hand, he performs labiaplasty, vaginoplasty, perineoplasty, genital fat transfer, vaginal laser, genital radiofrequency, and genital regenerative treatment applications. He has served as an active member of the Hera Vaginismus Treatment Association and ISAGSS (International Association of Aesthetic Genital Surgery and Sexology) and has been an educator at many national and international meetings. In 2023, he started serving on the board of directors as a founding member of the Gynecological Cosmetology and Pelvic Reconstruction Association (JINKOZ) under the umbrella of the Turkish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (TJOD), the largest association in Turkey in the field of women’s diseases. Dr. Servet Sekeryapan Çalikoglu, who is married and has two children, is proficient in advanced English and also accepts intensive patient admissions from abroad.
